The first step to finding a unique item to call your own is to search for what you would like. You can search directly from this website by typing in what you would like above. There are thousands of items currently on eBay indexed on this website. Just type in a keyword and browse through the listings. Clicking on a listing takes you directly to the eBay listing.

If you prefer to search directly from eBay's website you can search from the main page, or go to advanced mode. The rest of this article uses basic search mode.

Say you wanted to buy some nice new sunglasses. Go to directly to the eBay main page and under the logotype "Cool sunglasses". For the best results make sure you have selected to search in all the eBay categories.



Then you should see the results like this.

Browse through the results and click on the links to be taken directly to the sellers listing. When you search using the basic technique from the eBay main page you are just searching for keywords in the title. To expand the search to include text in the body make sure you check the option for it on the search results page or to use an advanced search. Finding great items is easy.
